After leaving school, she studied to attain an NVQ level 3 in oral health to become a Dental Nurse and qualified in 2008. Since her qualification, she has worked in both NHS and private practices. Katrina is trained to assist with general dentistry as well as the more complex areas of sedation and the placement of implants. She is keen to regularly attend courses to keep up to date with the latest advances in dentistry.
Katrina takes pride in caring for her patients and enjoys reassuring those that feel anxious about dental treatment. She likes to provide the highest level of service and care possible and has found that further training in customer services has helped her to provide this. Being a busy mum of two, Katrina is adept at multi-tasking and taking good care of the people around her.
After joining the practice in 2018, Katrina has continued to grow and develop her skills and knowledge within SD&A. Soon after joining the practice, she became Lead Nurse, giving her exposure to leadership and management. Having excelled in this role, she became Practice Manager in 2020 and loves being a supportive and pivotal member of the team.
